On Friday, August 25, 2017, Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas as a category 4 hurricane, the strongest storm our country has experienced in more than a decade. The storm has affected at least five sister food banks in the Feeding America network.
When disasters strike in our country, the Feeding America network of food banks band together to support food banks and communities as they rebuild all they have lost. We will be there through the long recovery process in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and for our neighbors in Texas and Louisiana.
Feeding the Gulf Coast needs your help in raising $18,000 to completely fill one of their trucks with canned vegetables to bring and distribute to the recent victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Just $100 will provide 222 cans towards our goal for our neighbors in need. Please consider helping today.
